BEARS

Tasked with using a combination of ideograms and pictograms to develop an icon system—using a single grid as a design tool—that visually retells a newspaper or magazine article of my choosing. Then, turn the icon system into a set of dynamic, visual-based posters and a card set and/or book form. I chose to create my icons based on a LIFE magazine about bears and their various lifestyles differing by habitat, food, and social/parenting habits.
