WORKING MEDIA is the first book in a series of publications featuring and describing media I consume peripherally while doing work or chores.From the introduction: "I’m a person who genuinely hates silence. I can’t work, cook, clean, draw, write, study or even sleep in silence. When I work (school assignments, commission work, studying for tests, writing papers), I still need noise, but it can’t be overly distracting noise. So a lot of the time, I’ll just throw something on that I’ve seen dozens of times, even to the point where I know the dialogue or lyrics by heart. If I look up from my work, I just go ‘Oh right I’ve seen this,’ and return to my work."
